Clarification
of Eos Systems / Kineticorp Press Release
Vancouver, BC - February 28, 2006 - Eos Systems, maker of the award-winning
PhotoModeler software, today clarified a company press release first
made Dec. 10, 2005 titled, "Eos Systems partners with Kineticorp
- Accident reconstruction firm becomes an official consultant for
PhotoModeler users." In the original release there was an implication
that Kineticorp carried out work on two high profile cases, the
"Princess Diana crash" and the "NHL's Danny Heatley
crash".
These two high profile accident reconstruction cases were carried
out by Knott Laboratory of Denver, CO. Richard Ziernicki, Ph.D.,
P.E., President and CEO of Knott Laboratory, says, "The specific
works mentioned in the release - the Princess Diana accident and
the Dany Heatley accident- were created by the Knott Laboratory
team, and include contributions from many engineers and animators.
Knott Laboratory and the Princess Diana reconstruction have been
featured on several television programs including, twice on the
Discovery Channel; "Science Behind the Headlines" aired
in 1998, "Unsolved History: The Death of Diana," aired
in 2003, and on MSNBC's "Why Cars Crash" aired on 2000."
"We apologize to Knott Laboratory for any implication in that
original release that proved misleading. That certainly was not
our intention. We fully recognize that these high profile cases
were investigated by Knott Laboratory and its staff," says
Alan Walford, CEO of Eos Systems. "Both Knott Laboratory and
Kineticorp are important customers and we look forward to long and
successful relations with both of them."
